Here’s another kind of hamstring stretch. Begin by getting on your knees on the floor. Keep your back straight. Now straighten your right leg out in front of you while kneeling on your left leg. Rest both of your hands on your right thigh. Keep your right foot flexed as you lean your torso forward until it is at a 45 degree angle with the floor. Hold this stretch for 30 seconds. Now switch legs and repeat the stretch.

You can use the lunge stretch to stretch out your quads. Begin by getting on your knees with your back straight and your shoulders back. Place your right foot about three feet forward to where your left thigh is at a 45 degree angle with the floor. Your right knee should not extend over your right toes. Let your arms rest at your side. Hold the stretch for 30 seconds and then repeat on the opposite leg.
